Yes, this former vegan is recommending an animal-based diet of meat, fish, eggs, butter and the like as the very best pathway to optimal health. This is especially true for anyone with an autoimmune disease or insulin resistance. The evidence is in and saturated fat is not harmful in a low carbohydrate, low sugar diet. But like all diets it has to be done correctly to maximize the benefits. While many lose weight rapidly on a carnivore diet, I view it primarily for chronic illness.
